IMPORTANT NOTICE: the State of Texas requires all STEP grant applications to be submitted via the eGrants portal at least 45 days prior to international travel, your application deadlines must be adjusted to protect the grant eligibility of your cohort.

Mandatory Milestone Payout Schedules

The $10,000 professional consulting fee is split into performance-based tranches. Tranche 3 is 100% refundable up until your specific cohort's close date.

MALAYSIA COHORT TIMELINE

• Tranche 1 ($3,500): Due immediately upon contract execution to launch your domestic export audit. (Non-Refundable)
• Tranche 2 ($3,500): Due October 15, 2026, upon electronic delivery of your Malaysian Market Blueprint. (Non-Refundable)
• Tranche 3 ($3,000): Due November 20, 2026, to lock your international B2B agendas. Refundable until Nov 20.
